Our BioCutlery is made from Plastarch bioplastic, produced from a 70% starch and 30% Polypropylene. This cutlery is a cost effective alternative to our 100% plant-based bioplastic and contains a high content of rapidly renewable plant material. BioPak’s single use disposable cutlery has a smaller carbon footprint compared to conventional plastic cutlery made from plastic derived from fossil resources.
- BioCutlery is heat-resistant.
- Our production facilities are certified to international environmental (ISO 14001) and food and safety standards (ISO 22000) standards.
- The emissions associated with the production, distribution and disposal of the all BioPak products are offset through the purchase of carbon credits.
